Now, more than ever, industrial businesses must act in a responsible and sustainable way, however we know that there is still work to be done. That’s why we’re pushing forward with a comprehensive programme of activity that demonstrates our clear commitment towards sustainable working and creating a greener future for everyone to enjoy. We have calculated our Group’s carbon emissions and offset them using a wide range of projects managed by Carbon Neutral Britain to benefit the environment. As we continue working towards improvements in our emissions levels, we know that we can be successful without negatively impacting the planet. Environmental commitment As well as the many things that we already do to promote efficiency throughout our business, our environmental commitment is driving us forward with a whole range of current activities and future plans. We plant a tree for every truck we sell A key element of our environmental strategy moving forward is our pledge to plant a tree for every truck we sell. This is an additional initiative running in parallel to the offsetting that we have done as part of our Carbon Neutral commitment. To help us co-ordinate this activity we have partnered with Ground Control who are supporting us with the planting of trees throughout the UK. Our overall ambition and vision is to contribute a significant amount of natural habitat and rewilding, ensuring adequate space for wildlife to flourish and indigenous species to thrive. This campaign and our wider environmental commitments will guarantee that this ambition becomes a reality.
